Bai | Meteorologist
Bai's task is it to observe the atmosphere and taking his observations into consideration when trying to predict the weather for the next days or weeks. Luckily, he has the special ability to sense any existence of water which is really helpful for predicting changes in the atmosphere that might lead to rain, storms or a drought. His weather predictions have already helped out the clan many times as they have to make sure none of their caves will get flooded and their crops will not die due to the lack of water that sometimes occurs in Dragonhome. Still, on specific days they can be rather vague and one or two days of - which of course isn't necessarily too bad, but they really have to prepare everything in advance so nothing goes wrong should a disaster strike earlier than expected. Bai always apologizes for things like this even though no one would ever be angry about this since they are happy he is part of their clan at all and can help a lot with his work anyway.

The water egg Bai hatched from was found in the huge underground lake that is part of the clan's caves. Nobody really knows how it's gotten there, but they suspect that there once was a direct connection to the outside world through which the egg got in. Regardless, one of the familiars found the egg and brought it to Ladon who then decided they should wait for it to hatch. Which indeed took a while - some of the dragons even thought that the egg had already started rotting since nobody knew how long it had been in the water until they found it. But after a long time, it finally hatched and Coatl that was too cute hatched, not knowing why exactly it was not born in water and why everyone was looking at it like it was a miracle. They explained what had happened when he was a bit older and until then he had been eager to learn about surviving and the traditions and dragons of the clan. Sure, it was a lot to take in, but since it was useful for his actual life here, he was more than willing to suck in all the new information he got. Since he is very cheerful, playful it didn't take long until he made friends who he likes to talk to and spend time with. On the other hand, his work is relatively time intensive and thus he sometimes doesn't have time to meet the others and chat with them - which is mainly alright for them, but it can indeed get a bit lonely on the Pillar when everyone else except for some individuals is working down in the caves. But this makes it better as soon as he finds time to catch up with everyone again. And his King Parda always keeps him company, which makes it a lot easier.
