Biography

"Hey, you!"
The scruffy looking coatl beckons to you.
"You look lost! Need some help?"
He tilts his long neck almost a full one hundred and eighty degrees.
"Are you one of the new recruits?"
He does a short glide over to you, his feathers aren't well kept and he seems to have a fair share of scars. Despite his odd appearance, he seems.. friendly enough.
"Whatever it is you're here for, the name's Tettan!"
He holds a paw out to you, but takes it back before you think to shake it.
"I train some of the newbies around here for their debut with the Lightweaver!"
He proudly puffs his chest out.
"Oh, right! If you need anything fixed or are looking for a hot meal, I'm here for that too. Tell you what; just holler for me if you need anything, okay?"
He takes his leave, returning to his small workshop that he's made for himself.

Early Life

Tettan was a single egg that was laid to to two coatl parents who resided in The Shifting Expanse. The day he hatched, he was abandoned immediately by his parents due to his grayscale coloration. Tettan was left to fight for himself during his early years of life. Although he managed to get by with the conditions he was thrown into, Tettan longed for companions and allies that he could feel comfortable residing with. Most of his earlier years were spent hunting and scavenging for the tools and resources he needed to survive. The rest of his time was spent trying to learn from clans from afar, becoming set on attempting to join one as time progressed.

History
For years, Tettan searched for a place that would accept him, jumping from clan to clan across The Shifting Expanse, often being chased off by the clan for his hindrance to productivity. Eventually, he left his homelands and wandered to the Sunbeam Ruins to seek refuge and a clan that would finally accept him. Wandering alone in the light-touched fields, defeated, filled with sorrow, and with little hope left, Tettan finally received the break he had been searching for. Discovered by a female skydancer from a nearby clan at the brink of collapsing, Tettan was brought back to the closest clan to be tended to immediately.

After several weeks of care, Tettan was as good as new with a revitalized spirit. Although he couldn't stay in the clan he was brought into, a nearby neighboring clan accepted him with open arms as his unusual quirks and traits happened to be just what they had been seeking. With a somewhat heavy heart, he waved goodbye to his caretaker, promising to her that he would make it up to her before disappearing from view with a small party from the neighboring clan who would take him to his soon-to-be forever home.

Current Day

Having found his place, Tettan happily serves his clan as a mentor and trainer to dragons who wish to become strong enough to serve under the lightweaver. Despite being a lightning dragon at heart, he is forever grateful to the clan that took him in.

The old scars that he had collected through his life remind him of the life he had during his search for a home that would accept him. When not occupied with training, he'll occasionally prepare meals and attempt to repair object sand contraptions for other clan members and guests. To this day, he still remembers the skydancer who had saved him. Regularly visiting with her to bring gifts and spend time with her whenever he can in an expression of his eternal gratitude.
