None of the clan lookouts remember seeing Farlander enter the clan. But suddenly he was in the middle of the clearing, surrounded by odd purple motes of light, looking for a place to call home. He is always surrounded by these strange purple particles, that float, fall, and disappear like sparks from a fire.
When Farlander met us he spoke very little Draconic. At first we thought he may have been raised on Coatl, but he doesn't understand that at all. Since learning better Draconic, he has tried to teach us his native language, but none of us can produce the right sounds, and it cannot be documented, as like Coatl it has no written form.
Farlander came from space, he says - from a dying rock that used to be part of a planet much like Sornieth. He's a biologist, part of a team of scientists who came to Sornieth to study its plant and animal life. Some dragons in the clan are skeptical, believing he made up the story for attention. Other dragons are more willing to believe him, or at least humor him. After all, there are plenty of rumors of alien beings coming to Sornieth on meteors, and Farlander's actions are certainly different from those of a Sorniethan dragon.
For one thing, he's mostly vegetarian - although he is willing to eat practically anything, Farlander's diet mostly consists of plants, contradicting his Mirror-like appearance. Also unlike Sorniethan Mirrors, Farlander prefers the company of himself, or one or two of his friends.

He says he will return to his homeworld someday, with his samples of soil, mushrooms, and flowers. But he never seems to have any conviction in saying it. It's his duty, he says. But he's made friends here, now, and is still quite enamored by the colorful menagerie of the Labyrinth. Duty alone cannot convince him to leave the beauty of Nature and return to his barren former home.

He also has the ability to be anywhere in the territory at any time. Most dragons aren't sure how he does it, but some report having seen him place his paw or tail on his pearl, hiss-click something, and then disappear, leaving only purple sparks.

Maybe Violet? They'd probably get along well and I had that bit in his lore about her before
