Deep blue eyes are all anyone seems to see in him since he left his watery home. From the learned physicist to the superstitious villager, the esteemed ambassador to the hardworking farmer, it's all what's in store for me and are there good tidings to come and should I prepare for the worst? No one really wants the bad news, is the thing, and he's known precious few on a good path who've wanted the word of an oracle anyhow. So he sighs and rolls his eyes, tossing his head with a pearlcatcher's pride. "What, you think every waterborn dragon's got the gift?" he scoffs. "You and my mama both, but wishing never did get her any farther than you'll make it on your shooting stars and fingerbones - and I don't need any future-vision to see that." He watches them leave, disappointed or huffy by turns, and shakes his head. Idiots, he thinks, because he doesn't need visions to chart their course - but that doesn't mean he doesn't have them, and they sure don't look good. Don't they know you have to make your own future?
