______ While Abaddon is quiet and somewhat unapproachable, she would do anything for Graverobber. Forever loyal to the mirror Queen and always ready to protect her, Abaddon has saved Graverobber’s life countless times. Things such as fatal wounds, illness and even assassins with her exceptional witchcraft but she still feels as though she has yet to repay the debt of the mirror saving her life when she was a hatchling. But Graverobber doesn’t just have Abaddon’s loyalty but her love as well, for the skydancer has been in love ever since they met.
The tale of how the Queen rescued her from certain death by fighting an endless wave of enemies is always fresh in the minds of hatchlings as she retells the story so they would know their Queen is a heroic and selfless one.
______ After Graverobber saved her, the two dragons wandered plague infested lands, finding many dead dragon that had fallen ill from relentless sicknesses and ultimately died. Graverobber was visibly upset by the sight, for her family had shared the same fate as these nameless corpses. Abaddon saw the toll it took on her mate and began experimenting in necromancy. First she tested on bugs and was joyous once she revived them. Then on mammals and other larger creatures until she had at last successfully reanimated dragons. The undead dragons came in all shapes, sizes, colors and breeds but all shared two things: undying loyalty to Graverobber and distinct skeletal markings. They were immune to illness, fatigue and hunger and they were more than willing to take a deadly blow for their Queen. This was the birth of the undead legion.
