______ Born small and fragile, Graverobber grew accustomed to fighting for survival. Her siblings, and much later, her parents all fell victim to the unforgiving plagues that had infected her home.

In early adolescence she spent most of her short life alone with only a few social encounters, a deep loneliness formed within her bones and she then craved the company of a pack. And so she searched, asking any dragon that she came across if they were interested. All turned her down, some politely declining and others choosing to use their fangs and claws for emphasis.

Too small and inexperienced in hunting, she began looting and robbing the bodies and graves of the dead dragons that littered the wasteland, earning her the name Graverobber by a judging onlookers.

Being forced into more solitary almost broke her. Mentally and emotionally hungering for companionship, Graverobber spent another five moons alone before she came across a large thriving pack by mere chance. Beyond excited and forgetting caution, she approached boldly by the ground. Only no one attacked her. In fact, the group wasn't even paying any attention to her. Graverobber could now hear the unmistakable clatter of fighting. The sound of claw and tooth tearing flesh. The whooping of the crowded dragons quickly transformed into one single deafening roar until her skull buzzed and her blood boiled with their lust for death. Shuffling through the seemingly never ending cluster of dragons, she finally arrived at the edge of a clearing.

One dragon was in the clearing, a large bulky Ridgeback male hunched over, looking intently at something by his feet. It took a few seconds for Graverobber to realize the heat that was shivering violently by the drooling brutes fangs was a injured hatchling. Her green feathers ruffled and stained with blood. Voices chanted all around.

"Kill her! Finish it!"

Graverobber's veins turned to ice. They wanted him to murder the hatchling. A red haze formed before her eyes, anger burning in her chest as her feet moved on their own accord now. Head down, the hard crest of her skull like a battering ram. Her muscles tensed for the impact. The crunching of bone filled her ears as she crashed into the shoulder of the deranged Ridgeback. A surprised yelp escaping him before he landed a few feet away, air knocked out of his lungs.

"Enough!"

Graverobber roared, standing protectively above the Skydancer baby. All eyes were trained upon her. Some shocked, some relieved but most were furious. She ignored the crazed venom that lurked in the eyes of those who surrounded her. She kneeled down, sniffing at the injured Skydancer, her large emerald eyes glazed with pain and fear. She shied away from her gentle touches and prodding's.

"Everything is going to be alright. You're safe now."

Graverobber whispered soothingly, licking the nasty wound that had been inflicted upon her beautiful shoulder and forearm. The hatchling nodded, eyes like two small moons. Graverobber stared into them, seeing her reflection. Her protective stance with a soft face. And it was then that she decided that she wanted to lead a pack of her own with a strong body complimented with a kind heart.

"No one will ever hurt you again."

The story is often told to hatchlings and newcomers of the journey of Graverobber. Of how she broke that Ridgeback's neck after he attempted to kill her while she tended to the Skydancer baby, how she fought valiantly through the heartless pack of dragons. Dealing fatal blows left and right, all the while the hatchling being underneath her muscular body. Some fled and some charged at her. However the young Mirror didn't leave the battle unscathed. Her hide now permanently covered in enormous, long scars under the white wrappings all along her body.

She took that Skydancer youngling and nursed her back to health. Naming her Abaddon. Only when she was at age, Graverobber trained her. Teaching her all of the harsh but necessary things she learned by the land growing up, during this time the two fell in love. She is Graverobber’s first love, first friend and first clan member. The two are now inseparable
