Fayne is a quiet, thoughtful, formidable dragon, who prefers to keep to herself. She is a skilled magic user, though she focuses mainly on healing and in cleaning up after her mate, Koa. She may come across as cold sometimes but she's really quite motherly, in her way. As one of the first dragons to join the clan back when it was founded, she has gradually come to take over most of the day to day matriarchal duties that Anemoi cannot or will not tend to. She's in charge of sending out care packages and gifts to other lairs, mostly because she is probably the only dragon in the lair able to stand up to Anemoi. (Anemoi doesn't know why Fayne insists on sending away perfectly good food, apparel, and treasure chests when they have store rooms full of moldy leather and bone fragments!) Fayne does not like delivering the gifts personally, though, and usually sends either Feng or Aelwyn out as the lair ambassador.

Lately she's also started organizing teams to send out on lair reviews, although her patience with some of the team members is already wearing thin.

Fayne used to cycle through familiars, without ever really growing attached to any one in particular. During the clans first and busiest Wish Rising season, though, a neighboring clan sent over an Ethereal Trickster in thanks for one of Fayne's gifts. Quiet seemed drawn to her, and while she never formally claimed him for herself she has since stopped trading out familiars. It is now rare to see her going about her duties without a small shadowy presence at her side.

Tramontane

Fayne is a member of team Tramontane, consisting of herself, Anemoi, Venti, and Koa. (She and Koa swap out, depending on whether the situation calls for a caster who specializes in healing or a caster who specializes in explosions.) Tramontane was the lair's first coliseum party; they fed the lair single-handedly in its early days and still regularly patrol the Cloudsong, keeping an eye out for dragons in need of help or beastclan infiltrators .

Family & Friends

Fayne is mated to Koa. They have one daughter, Cenue, who has chosen to stay in the lair. Cenue is mated to Wyrrik, the son of Ysolt, Jasper, and Ealan.

Before Koa and Fayne had settled as a bonded pair, Koa had a son, Avaryu, with Calypso. Calypso is now mated to Sawel.

Avaryu had one son, Phaeton, with Elva. The pair later split up, with Elva returning to a permanent bond with Mathas. Phaeton is mated to Panori. Elva and Mathas have a daughter, Tesona, who is Phaeton's half-sister. Tesona is mated to Kerwyn, the son of Link and Solryn.

Avaryu has another son, Levalis, with his permanent mate, Feng. Levalis is mated to Melli, the daughter of Luan and Rixel. Melli has a sister, Ailyth, who is also a permanent resident of the lair. Ailyth is mated to Mouric.

Fayne is close friends with Anemoi, Venti, Ryalo, Feng, Urdua, Spreth, Aelwyn, Verdigris, Bevan, and Quara. She does not get along very well with Ysolt, Dunia, or Ieni.
