Alpine is a calm, peaceful tundra from the Wind flight who left to go find an adventure as a hatchling. His love of travelling took him across Sornieth, giving him a chance to discover hidden pathways and many different cultures. While travelling through Greatwyrms Breach in the Earth flight’s territory he found something quite strange: a beautiful forest with bright leaves that stood out against the sky. Intrigued, Alpine entered the forest and was greeted by a friendly tundra who was taking a walk through the forest. She introduced herself as Sycamore and invited him to come see the rest of her clan’s home to rest, something he could really use being so young. Curious about this beautiful place, Alpine followed her. Upon getting to the camp he was greeted by many forest like dragons who stared at him welcomingly before the female tundra made her way through the crowd and led him to a place he could eat in peace. He gave her a grateful look and answered her questions about what had brought him so far. After his story was finished, Sycamore offered him a place in her clan, saying that he’d fit in perfectly with the other dragons there. He did like the idea of being part of another clan, especially since he enjoyed the trees and flowers that surrounded this peaceful clan. However, Alpine did wish to continue his travels after he rested up a bit. During his stay Sycamore told him more about her clan and about herself, which led to Alpine’s desire to stay there in the forest. Upon making his decision, Sycamore allowed Alpine to stay in her clan and serve as their mail courier. Happy that he could travel and stay with a clan, Alpine began his job as soon as he was old enough. It was during one of these trips he even met his mate Peony, whom he brought to his clan and became a gardener. (lore by DeathSpecter) |
