THE MATRIARCH
With a talent for magic, Vivis leads her clan with a level head. Originally she was just a small Fae, but she chose to become a Coatl. This led to some confusion within her clan, as both species are known for being hard for other species to understand. However, dispite this her clan is loyal and she is well loved. Her magical might is well respected and even the largest Imperial bows before her. She seeks knowledge and is not afraid to delve into the darker side of magic. She adopts young dragons with magic potential and teaches magic to all of the young dragons in her lair. Due to this, she has a large folowing of mage dragons who have also begun educating young dragons in their clan.
Her mate, Smoke, left in an exalted crusade shortly after their first nest hatched. This left Vivis heartbroken and she began taking in many orphaned dragons as a result. She fell into a deep depression and locked herself in her library at the bottom of the lair. There, she researched and learned many spells. The dragons she adopted began to fear her, thinking she was attempting to raise the dead, but she assured them she wasn't. She remained in her library until one fateful day when a familiar dragon appeared at the edge of the lair.
Against all odds, Smoke had returned and the ice on her heart melted. She was angry at first, but after seeing the sorry state he was in when he returned she forgave him for leaving almost immediately. He renamed himself Ghost and abandoned his Fae form to become a Nocturne. She is much happier now that he is back, but has not stopped taking in orphans.
