Although not the most easygoing member of the Refuge, Emery makes for good company out on hunts and foraging parties. Emery's specialty is her physical strength, brute force and a will forged in the bitter cold winds of the worst Wind Flight has to offer. The mirror was tougher than diamonds, near impossible to fell, and such a small clan with so many vulnerable dragons benefitted a lot from her silent support. She was the glue that kept Pyxis together, the silent strength at her side the little Nocturne needed in order to lead the original Refuge of the Reedcleft Ascent.
She blames herself for the downfall, though she doesn't speak of it. Changing into a Banescale through magic has done a lot for her self-image, though she appreciates that her second set of eyes came along with her for the change.
