Ereth

Ereth flitted among the Fae nests that lined the walls of the canyon in the Shifting Expanse. The many round nests fit together to create a bustling place that was home to many small dragons.
"Hey, Ereth!" An orange and pale yellow female Fae called, chasing after him.
"Hey, Junice!" Ereth responded enthusiastically. The two exchanged their secret handshake, careful not to let their wings collide. "How you been doing lately?"
"Alright." Junice replied, her bright blue eyes glinting in the sunlight. "You?"
"I'm good," Ereth said with a nod, "just about to go ask Mom and Dad something." Ereth moved towards the nest of the two Faes he called his parents. Drath and Kinse weren't Ereth's birth parents, but they adopted him at a young age, making Junice his sister.
"Mom?" Ereth called, landing on the edge of the nest and ducking inside, which was significantly darker. "Dad?" He took a couple steps into the nest and waited for his eyes to adjust to the light.
"Ereth?" A masculine voice responded after a moment or two. "What do you need, son?" A white and orange male Fae stepped over towards Ereth, and a pink and gold female Fae stood behind him.
"Well," Ereth started, "I came to tell you that I'm going on a journey." Before Drath and Kinse could say anything, he quickly added; "It's not that I don't like it here, I just want to explore."
"We perfectly understand, honey." Kinse, the female Fae, said. She took a step forward and placed her long tail on Ereth's shoulder. "Your father came here many years ago because he wanted to see what laid beyond the borders of his clan's territory."
"Adventure can be a good thing." Drath, the male Fae concurred. "Just remember to come and visit us often, okay?"
"I'll make sure to do that." Ereth replied with a smile. He gave his parents one last hug and flew out the doorway of the nest to find his sister and begin his great adventure.

Ereth is always in a good mood, especially when adventure is in the mix. The little Fae is always ready to take any challenge head-on. He loves exploration and hunting. Sometimes dragons will underestimate him because of his small size, but that's their biggest mistake yet. His adventuresome spirit will lead him to just about anything he's dared to, within reason. He is never afraid to take the bull by the horns, and he comes up with a smile after every throw.
