The Stalwart Trainer

"We must train to be strong, for the weak are fodder for the mighty."

Soulsong, the first born of the matriarch, is one of the oldest and most respectable dragon of the clan. She carries herself with dignity and trains the hatchlings of her clan with honor.

As a whelp, she was close to her sister, Starchaser. They explored the forests together and played games. They grew strong together fighting enemies from the Beastclans in distant lands. Soulsong found herself in these battles. She enjoyed the thrill of the fight. She studied the way of the warrior and when her skills reached the zenith, she passed on her training to the younger dragons.

But in the end, she became distant from Starchaser, and her younger sister went her own way. Nowadays they barely speak.

Then she couldn't help but notice that there was something off about the young warriors she trained... Some of them took breaks from their training and came back different in some way, or they outright disappeared completely. One thing was certain: her own sister was connected somehow.
