One half of the so-called "Storm Duo" within Pridoni's home, Arus is the mate of Besarion, and unlike her more stormy mate, does her best to make sure everything is just right. She has a touch of OCD, and enjoys organizing great quantities of items into rows and layers and putting things where she feels they belong within the chapel. Sometimes that can make moving around difficult, especially for the bigger dragons, who have to be extra careful unless they want an angry Nocturne crying on them for ruining her perfect pile of books and an even angrier Ridgeback trying to slice them seven ways to Sunday for making his mate cry.

When she isn't going on organization rampages, Arus is a cool dragon to hang around. She makes butterscotch toffee that will have you on the floor begging for more in an instant, and she can usually tell the weather just by looking at the clouds and the way the wind is moving. This serves her and Besarion well, particularly when they do delivery runs.

She isn't a fighter by any means. Unlike her husband, who chose to give up soft wingtips for hardened spikes, Arus doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She prefers the traditional Nocturne method of 'mimic until you either get hurt or killed' and will copy an opponent move for move until there's no place left for her to move to, or she's too hurt to go on. Usually Besarion steps in before that happens, and does his thing - which means a good swipe with his tail and everyone's on the floor bleeding.

She enjoys cooking, reading fairy tales, and snuggling into Pridoni's considerable fluffy mane when he wants to take a nap.
