A tundra on the Shifting Expanse is an unusual sight, so it's not surprise that Myakka eventually left her lightning home to go explore the wider world. Her memory is fuzzy and fickle like most Tundras, but her olfactory memory is remarkable, even compared to other Tundras. She can recall the smell of her old home, the smell of dust and electricity. She remembers the smell of water and fish, of damp forests and searing deserts. Every land she has journeyed through remains fresh in her nose, reminding her of where she has been. Myakka traveled with a single minded focus, intent on finding a home where she was not an outlier. She found a place just like this in the Ashfall Wastes, at home among the searing heat and the hundreds of Tundras that called this land their home. No one can quite explain how Ice dragons with thick furry coats have adapted to life so well in the Wastes, some theorize that it is a gift from the Flamecaller herself, others believe that these warmth loving tundras are merely genetic mutations. The tundras themselves offer no explanations. Whatever the explanation may be, the lightning born Tundra had found her new home, and with it, her mate.

The moment Myakka laid eyes on Sanibel, she was smitten. He was naive and playful, she was worldly and dedicated. Their personalities might have been polar opposites, but as a couple they were perfect for each other. Myakka had never felt a strong tie to the Stormcatcher, so together with Sanibel she turned her eyes towards the Icewarden. She is still not very religious, but she finds a nice sense of community among the other Ice dragons within the clan. Myakka thinks her new home smells like family, and the other dragons of the clan tend to agree. She assists Sanibel and the others with fishing and tending to their underwater shellfish farming experiments. Her mechanical knowledge from being Lightning flight has helped the Aquaponics team construct underwater mechanical pens and gates to keep fish and other underwater life properly contained.
