"Don't wait for the perfect moment, take the moment and make it perfect"
Truly to be honest I was brought into this clan for my genes, at the time I was rare and clad in butterfly, the same pattern that is observant on my wings today. Over the months I’ve stayed here, I found a more true purpose. I was small, half the size of some of my other clan mates, but held an ability that many of them didn’t, the ability to wield magic and heal. That sounds important and sure it is, but it doesn’t define me. My abilities just build and add to who I am.
For the longest time I was only kept around for my abilities and to make sure they would never get rid of me I honed them more. To say I was disliked would be a very acute statement. As I was significantly smaller than most of the other dragons it should come to no surprise that I was teased, trapped, and harassed by the much bigger and stronger dragons. That was until Windrunner came along.
One day as I was being trapped in a cage made of spare bones and being harassed by the other dragons a young pink windrunner approached us. It was clear he wasn’t from around here otherwise he would have let this continue on, but he didn’t. He was special and actually stood up for me. He just walked up to the 3 dragons who had me trapped, growled, may have hit a few (everything is quite a blur here), and got them scurrying away. Though at first I was intimidated by him we became fast friends despite his ego, not that I minded all that much.
Our group of two became a three when Shard showed up to the clan. Despite being an imperial, Shard preferred to stay on the outside of the group, sticking to his mind instead of people. Too bad for him because we adopted him within a second. But despite being a part of our group against his will he quickly fit in and rounded out our little group.
Together we were strong, apart we were weak. A fact that was proven again and again as we fought in the Coliseum together, me healing, the two of them fighting with their sharpened claws. I didn’t mean to be violent but occasionally it was required as one of them got knocked out. Despite whatever happened, we had each other's back.
