Aralyn

Things were relatively peaceful in the clan, dragons just going about their business without a care in the world...

...When all of a sudden, there was a bright flash and the familiar sound of thunder. Startled--some in shock--they all stopped what they were doing. The flash of light seemed to last longer than it should have...assuming it was rogue lightning. When it cleared, there she was. Standing proudly upon the marred ground.

She cleared her throat and with a voice as loud as ten dragons she called out into the clan. "Underlings of Yelena, your bravery and strength has not gone unnoticed! We saw how you fought long and hard to achieve your goals, so I have been sent to teach you all how to improve even further!"

.... The crowd was silent. Mortimer, being the only member of the high council who happened to be around at the time, rushed over to Aralyn and greeted her. Questioning her arrival once more. "I am a previously exalted dragon, returned from the Stormcatcher's domain to train you all." She didn't find it weird, but the others surely did. Mortimer ushered her away from the crowd and explained to Coal and Yelena exactly what happened.

Of course she was permitted to stay, but nobody is really sure what she's about. She's stronger than Shar, which is impressive but.... was this whole "Exalted dragon" thing true? Could a dragon really return from the heavens?

They keep an eye on her, but for now they let her do her work. She trains dragons in the clan and helps them gather food from time to time. She is a generally optimistic dragon who has boundless energy. In fact, nobody's seen her sleep....so maybe she doesn't.
