First Gene Project Completed, exact date unknown (but some point between 07/01/16 - 15/02/16 i know for certain, because i bought her for a birthday nest so she had to be finished before the 15th to have been able to breed in time)

Originally Ripple/Freckle/Crackle Spiral (which I remember disliking when I got her, hence the change, but honestly doesn't look that bad now)

you know what I actually really like this thrown together outfit
reminds me of mercy's revamp, literally the same (using items in my hoard that look great), just not using the dressing room to figure it out first
it gives you a steampunk-y inventor kinda vibe tbh

*oldest as in 2 of the first dragons I ever bought from the AH, or in Rubys case one of the ones I have left (as there were definitely several between her and silver, but they're the only two left from my early early days other than saryth, gloria and chase







using the lyrics i chose for them (your love (deja vu)) for lore insp;
silver and ruby had a thing going on when they were younger, in the clans infancy. not sure if it was before or after their respective nests, most likely both (before rubys, after silvers - rogue was the result of a one time fling with a travelling dragon). but they decided mutually to break up due to several factors, primarily that both were relatively young and immature still, and with the clan was starting to prepare to move to plague the two had different reactions. ruby was excited to return to her homeland and whatever new challenges occured, but silver wanted to stay behind as her daughter had left not long before.

eventually the clan split, with a few staying behind alongside silver, while the rest left with their leader to create a new home. when they finally settled, ruby tried to move on and take a mate, but ended up having a short fling with another pearlcatcher who stayed around long enough to see their eggs hatch, before he moved on, two of their dragonets following soon after. looking at the daughter who stayed with her, cherry bomb, has her understand how silver felt after rogue left, back then.


years passed, and soon ruby, now older, finds herself reminiscing. with a gentle nudge from cherry, she decided to venture back to the clans old home.

and when she gets there, its like no time had passed at all between her and silver. within a few days of ruby returning the two re-enter their relationship, older and more mature and with more life experience to their names.


(the clan breathed a sigh of relief when they got back together, as they were happy the two didn't beat around the bush about getting together like a certain pair of hopeless sapphic clan leaders did several years back)
