It was about midnight when the first representative arrived.

Or, at least, that's what Alpine supposes. No one was actually awake at that time, how was he supposed to know? The Skydancer arrived silently, in the middle of the night - the point is the Clan woke up and she was there.

Obviously everyone was a bit wary at first. Silhouette almost laughed at this. Everyone was always so shocked by the way she just... showed up. The Shadowbinder would have been proud - she really hoped he was, considering the fact that he'd sent her to this back-alley group of dragons in the middle of the jungle.

None of the dragons of Silvarum really trust her. Not that she minds. She wouldn't trust herself, either. Lies and tricks are, for her, a way of life, and not something she plans to give up any time soon, no matter what Alpine says.
