"You have your mother's scales."
These are phrases Eta has heard for most of her life. At first, Eta was proud; her mother was a beautiful dragon, and a talented crafter. Eta adored her mother, so these phrases didn't bother her much.

As Eta grew older, she found her passion lied with battling and fighting; her father's passion. Eta trained hard to be a fantastic warrior, but rejected her mother's skill- crafting, whole heartedly, after tiring of hearing how much she was like her mother, when she really wanted to be more like her father. Eta and her sister, Swadine, would spar frequently as hatchlings, both equally interested in the skill. Unlike Eta, however, Swadine was interested in the skills of both of their parents. Eta respected this, but after a particularly rough sparring match one day one things got a little heated, the two had a falling out. In anger and desperation to get away from her sister, Eta went with her father for several days on a religious outing to the Sunbeam ruins, while Swadine stayed back within Arcane territory with their mother.
During the religious outing, Eta realized she didn't want to lose her sister, and hurried back to apologize. The two became okay with eachother once more, but unfortunately for Eta, her sister still wanted to travel to someplace new. Eta was angered at first, believing her sister was abandoning her, but came to accept it after she realized it was what would make her sister happy.

After Swadine left the Clan for another (another Clan within the Crystalspine Reaches, in fact; she visits her sister often), Eta trained hard to be the best warrior she could. Eta is fiery, with a temper that can be quick to sour should someone rub her scales the wrong way. However, she is a fantastic warrior, and will defend her Clan with her life.
