______ The Uzumaki Hotsprings are one of the prize attractions of the Last Retreat. These great stepped pools lead from the snowcapped peak of the active volcano that forms the center of the Lair to the shore where they mingle with the saltwater rock pools. The pools range both in size and temperature from the boiling pools of volcanic mud loved by Fire Flight dragons to the near freezing icy pools in the snowbanks near the peak favored by the Ice Flight. The pools get their name for the swirling currents as water spills from one pool to another, making a spiral pattern of foam on the faster flowing pools. Local fish can often be seen climbing the stepped pools to spawn where the eggs are protected from larger predators. A Fishing Holiday in the Lair involves standing in these pools and trying to catch the leaping fish in your mouth.

______ Despite not being a water flight dragon Solive is in charge of the Last Retreat's soothing mineral hot springs. Natural ground water produced from snow melt is filtered by the underground caverns, heated by the boiling magma of the volcano's heart and surfaces in a picturesque spot by the bamboo groves. This waterfall of naturally heated water is a gathering place for the familiars of the Lair native to the Bamboo Falls to enjoy a similar environment to their home. Many dragons choose to rest there on their pilgrimage to relax in the different pools and enjoy the therapeutic effects of the waters. Solive is in charge of all the different pools; checking their temperature and mineral content with the help of Maren Elder Waterfall and organizing booking tour groups for larger groups. The minerals in the water have different rejuvenating properties and with care and diligence she is cultivating a species of fish native to the plaguelands to survive in the heated waters. These fish rasp away and consume dead scale and skin from the bathing dragon. The main problem she has right now is breeding them so that's all they do. Shed feathers and other remains from familiars are fed to her little school to keep them big and strong.
