Sapphire is... one of the more serious members of the clan. She really tries to push that point too, with her silence and a "don't bother me or I will punch you" attitude. The ridgeback also attempts to craft words of wisdom in her past time, though none of them really seem to make any sense.
Sapphire: In order to succeed, you all must be like trees. Strong, sturdy, and... hm...
Athena: Mulish? Indolant? The vegetation of the tree variety typically remains in the static position for centuries on end, unless forcefully relocated from their residence by both natural or draconic interference, both of which are not to the credit of the aforementioned flora.

When she's not down in the forge helping Vulcan out with his metalwork, Sapphire also can be seen working with Scourge. Enforcing the peace, and all that. However, though she likes peace, she also really likes swinging her spikey claws around. Once, she tried to cool Aelwen and Solstice down, but 15 minutes later she decided that bashing their heads in was a better, and funner, idea.
