Thoughts:
▸Layek: Powerful, strong-willed, glorious. She’s a shinning example of what Orcs should be and she’s worth more than anything.
▸Judson: Her second in command, he’s not nearly as qualified or calculated as his mentor is, he falls short of what he’s trying to be.
▸Decimus: Already went over this. He’s not nearly as qualified or calculated as his mentor is and he falls short.
▸Virus: An astounding fighter with a brutal and cold personality, she’s fun to hunt with and stunning to watch.
▸Hades: Was a merc before he was a raider and it shows, he’s much more laid back than the other Generals and is lazy.

While Layek has changed into a new armor after her time out of the bandit Kingdom, Keyal has not, making it very obvious to everyone around her that the only thing keeping her from attacking them is Layek.
Once the Left-hand of the Bandit Queen, also once the driving anger of the same woman, now she is only the 2nd in command to a Guard Captain of some small Kingdom in the murky depths of the Shadow Domain. It’s no secret that Keyal has only loyalty for Layek herself, and none for anyone else within the Kingdom, but she is a very competent person and a boon to the guard force, getting a surprising amount of work done.
Thoughts:
▸Alusair: A traitor even to his own people, he wont last long in the Bandit Kingdom if she knows anything.
▸Somber: Skilled, ruthless, brutal, fighting next to him ensures you will be painted red.
▸Durant: Childishly ambitious, short-sighted, short-tempered, she would think him a teenager if she didn’t know any better.
▸Ryln: More merciful than preferred for a raider, calm, aloof, but she thinks things through and it shows.
Thoughts:
▸Fell: A good fighter, capable, a little too eager to please, like a dog. Works well for a gate guard.
▸Rawlins: Experienced, but thinks he knows more than he does. Frustrating to talk to.
▸Odette: Like a young Arcana, she’s reckless and doesn’t think things through, but she’ll figure it out.
▸The King: Loathsome, he thinks he deserves respect when does nothing to earn it. Throws his weight around like he’s something, he doesn’t know how much trouble he’s in.

Biography
Arcana was born into a sleepy town in the Arcanist’s domain near the ocean, her Mother bidding her time studying the flow of magic, and her father wasting his life away guarding a charge that did not even have the ability to be grateful for it. Keyal wasn’t content here, not even as a girl, growing restless and tired of reading scholarly texts. Before it was even time for her to leave, Keyal was already preparing to go. Studying maps, trying to figure out where she could go. Plague, it was right next to them. It would be the easiest to get to. So, map rolled up in her bag of provisions, Keyal left the Village in the dead of the night to never return. Everything out here was new, and exciting, and the further from home she got the more strange things became. Along trade roads she walked for weeks until she made it to the new land. To plague. Things were different here, she learned that fast, the creatures quick to snatch her bag from her back. It was dangerous out here for a girl by herself. So, Arcana began to hang out near a small village of Fae, they didn’t interest her none, they were boring, but they kept the area safe and that was enough… until some days later a band of Guardians!! Like her! Appeared and stayed the night at the village. They were big, powerful, and they were imposing. Owning the space just by setting foot inside… their energy excited her, she wanted to be like that, so when the bandits left the next day she followed at a distance.
A few years passed, shadowing this group, and Arcana was ready to strike. She had been scavenging for some time, rotating between following this roving band of bandits and going off on her own. She was stronger now, better, when her watching paid off. They were harassing a caravan, attention elsewhere, and Arcana had a clear line to the Leader. Taking the opportunity presented, she lept out of her hiding place and stabbed the Orc woman ruthlessly. That was all she needed to do, you don’t get to survive something like that, she pushed the woman to the ground and turned as the group fell into chaos. She had not done this for nothing, however, as ‘New orcs’ they respected power and she had just shown her’s. She declared herself the new Leader of the group, having slain the last one, and challenged anyone to disobey her command. No one did. Now the Master of a group of efficient, trained, fighters Arcana led her new group on a tirage of the wastes. No longer would she settle for scraps, they now went into towns and took what they wanted, whenever they wanted. Life was good, she was pampered and respected, too bad she hadn’t noticed one of the members slipping away early on. This came back to bite her, the one named Layek showing up with a force of armed men, challenging them to a battle to prove their worth. Everything started at once, Keyal had never been forced to fight in close quarters, or in large numbers, so she quickly found that she was having trouble keeping up with the flow. The vengeful woman would take advantage of this and Arcana was on her back before she knew what was happening. Her group was not her’s anylonger, her life was at an end-
Except it wasn’t. Arcana had never felt anything as powerful as actually looking at Layek then, she couldn’t describe it, and when the other woman returned her red eyes to look down at her Arcana was quick to swear herself to her. Keyal, that’s what she would be called from now on, she would make sure of it, Layek allowed her to keep her life in some kind of mercy. She would be allowed to stay with her. Under Layek’s command, the group grew further, becoming more powerful, and Keyal was content with the way of things. They were spoiled with loot, with luxury, what could be better? Well, Layek didn’t agree, she said she was bored. That she was leaving. There was no conversation, no question, Keyal followed as she always would. Followed her from kingdom to kingdom in search for purpose, only for Layek to find it in defending some back-water Kingdom in the middle of the shadow swamplands. Keyal, or Arcana as she was once named, longed to return to the old way… but that seemed to become more unlikely with each passing day spent in the Blue Kingdom’s golden walls.
Personality
Cocky, over confident, self righteous, as far as she is concerned she is one of the best things to ever happen to anyone. Not above quite a bit of bragging and showboatry, she loves to rub how competent she is in the faces of others. She makes a point of letting others know how well-versed she is in different tasks, how good of a fighter she is, how strong she is. After all, Keyal is the best so everyone should be made aware. Well, one of the best anyway, the only person she seems to have higher regards for than herself is Layek.
Oddly loyal for someone who led a small band of raiders, she’d never let anything happen to her lady, and takes betrayal as a personal offence even if it has nothing to do with her. Despite the type of people she use to run with, disloyalty is something she finds intolerable and believes it to be worthy of a death penality punishment. Traitors are the lowest of the low and Keyal will not tolerate lying, or stealing, when done between members of the same group.
Personality
Keyal was very energetic, brash, over enthusiastic and reckless when she was young, her youth shinning through in a beacon that was hard to ignore. But, her time with Layek seems to have mellowed out her more harsh nature into something a little more stern and serious. She is still brash, she’s still reckless, but she has a better handle on herself and seems more aware of what’s happening around her.
Patience isn’t something one should expect from Keyal, she is a hothead afterall and pettiness is in her nature, but she is oddly willing to play the long game. If she must wait to get the best results than she will wait for the opportunity to strike, observing in the mean time to look for weakness, but when it comes to chatter, to words, she has none of the same discipline. All it takes is someone saying the wrong thing once and she will never forgive them afterwords. She’s petty, she’s spiteful, and she will absolutely hold a grudge for… however long it takes.
