Biography

Sasha, Darling, You're My Best Friend

Cherine commands the scouting parties and is the resident cartographer. Everyone in the clan who does not protect, mine, gather food, craft or care for the nests is treated as a scout and therefore under her command. As a group, they can run flight relays across the entire Southern Icefield and back in a single night, using old clan hideouts as outposts.

The responsibility of charting the ever shifting expanses of their home weighs heavily on her, and she takes every accident or death caused by an out of date map as a personal failing, even if there was no way she could predict an avalanche or a collapsing glacier. Dragons who would call her work pointless will find the whole clan turning on them in a flash.

She can be slightly neurotic and obsessive over time and the weather, but her heart is always in the right place. She is respected by most dragons in the clan, though some can find her attention to detail a touch exasperating. She gets along especially well with Sasha and Pelia, though Sasha has a special place in her heart. Ursa is the bane of her existence; the coatl's frequent disappearing acts into the wilderness leave her frantic, even with Pelia's promises to make Ursa leave a note next time.
