There have been many tales of a dangerous beast lurking in the deepest parts of the Wilderness of Stone: some speak of an ancient monster, older than even the city itself, while others describe a reclusive mage said to have died centuries ago. Both of these stories are true.

Ever since he’d accepted Silas as his apprentice, Mizar's days have been filled with light and laughter. The young mage was a kind soul — too good for someone like him.

So he asked him one day. “Do you know what I am?”
