Ever since Badland was a hatchling, she knew there was something off about her. Despite her efforts, she always failed to understand the humors of the other dragonlings, and was always seen as brutally obtuse to the feelings of others. Despite the multiple doctors and healers of the clans warnings and pleads, she was sent off at a young age to a training facility in hopes of removing the strain of the clan to take care of her, and get her out of their hair.

When she returned, Badland isolated herself and refused to eat for several days at a time; coming out for rehydration and the bare minimum for meals. She became enamored with the idea of violence, and only showed enthusiasm in her work as a guard, perhaps too much so. While Badlands proficience in her job made her desirable, her cold attitude did not, and there was talk of her possibly injuring one of the clan members if they happened to aggravate her. And so, Badland was sought off again.

Badland's inclusion to the clan was a quick one, and happened rapidly through the span of a few weeks under Achillea's watchful eye. The clan's resident doctor, Ghost, immediately began treating her for psychological abuse, PTSD, and a form of aspergers went unnoticed in her young age, dismissed as antisocial anxiety. In her treatment, she met Virtue, a kind apprentice of Ghost that strived to help others, and they fell in love, quickly becoming attached at the hip.

To this day, Badland prefers to be alone, but is quite a gentle giant. She proves to be an excellent fighter, and enjoys laying next to her mate many late nights.
