Biography
{Ping @IvyVines for a male Thunderbird w/ Spines}
An accomplished warrior, Lyubochka belongs to the Thunderbird subspecies. She's one of the most dangerous dragons in the clan.
On the rare occasion that the clan goes to full-scale war, Lyubochka and Gennadiy act as shock troops, preceding the full invasion. Her command of lightning magic is lethal in the Coliseum as well as the battlefield, and she takes an active role in exaltee training. In her sparse free time, she spars with clan members who cannot leave the den. Though an incursion may never occur, she insists it's better to be prepared than taken by surprise.
She and Gena are warrior priests in the service of the Stormcatcher.
Her full name is "Lyubov" -- "beloved".
Achieved level 25 on 7 February 2016.
Lightning Sprite 28 July 2016.
Breed: Any
Primary Colour: Obsidian - Midnight, Azure
Secondary Colour: Azure - Teal
Tertiary Colour: Obsidian - Midnight, Azure
Primary Gene: Bar, Cherub, Clown, Piebald, Ripple
Secondary Gene: Peregrine
Tertiary Gene: Basic, Glimmer, Okapi, Spines, Underbelly
Lore: Thunderbirds spend their youth and old-age following on the tail-end of thunderstorms on the mesas of the Shifting Expanse. Their bodies blend into the rain-heavy, billowing clouds where static electricity builds to the point of crackling. The vibrant plumes on their wings are formed from absorbing this static, and the bright colours serve as a warning to nearby dragons.
Between youth and old-age, Thunderbirds often serve as a clan's shock troops in combat, said to attack with the suddenness, ferocity, and speed of an oncoming storm. In their elder years, most Thunderbirds return to wandering the mesas on the tail-end of thunderstorms. Should they die of old age in this fashion, Thunderbirds do not leave a corpse: their bodies instead arc into plasma are absorbed back into the storm. It is said that particularly loud thunder sounds on such a day.
Other: Thunderbirds must be at least level 10 in order to be "fully-fledged" (meaning, for example, before they are eligible to be listed as official breeders).
