Biography
Divantae
She/Her | Widow
Mate: N/A
Divantae is an elderly woman living in a cozy cottage deep within the Worldedge Wetlands. She spends most of her days gardening, gathering herbs, and foraging wood to trade with the nearby Nature clans. That wood can be in its raw form for building resources, or she'll sell delicately carved trinkets to act as decoration or hatchling toys. Her home is absolutely covered in these little wooden figures, too.
She doesn't proclaim herself to be of any particular clan - she'd in fact loudly protest if someone referred to her as one of their members - but holds a very comfortable relationship with all of them. She's been asked many times if she'd like to move in, find herself a nice place in a community, but she always denies, preferring to live by her lonesome.
On one of her outings, she ran into a newcomer, Jadrian, who was using one of the nearby clearings as a new home for himself. Ever the curious sort, Divantae took to prying, trying to get information out of this strange old man, but he always refused to elaborate on his origins. Politely, and always with an averted gaze, but still firm refusals.
Enamored with this strange coatl, and perhaps a bit too eager to smack him upside the head for being a mopey weirdo who wouldn't take care of himself, she makes her visits to his grotto quite frequently for casual conversation.
It is through her that Jadrian's existence was even heard about by the other clans - something she's quietly apologized to Jadrian for, as now he is constantly bugged by dragons seeking wisdom from him - and their bond has only grown stronger over time. She eventually found out about his precognition, but respected his wishes to never ask for her own future.
And Windsinger forbid she catches some annoying git bothering her good friend for fortunes he doesn't care to tell. Because she is far snappier than the reserved bundle of feathers that is Jadrian, and she'll be sure to let em have it.
that's what the original description said so who am I to deny her that life. this old woman is out foraging. i might even have an idea where. but i am Also changing that secondary that's for sure
