Biography
Perneth was... well different to say the least about him. He didn't interact with his siblings at all, completely shut them out of his life..along with his mother. Initum would simply feed the only male hatchling of the clutch and hope for the best. He didn't seem to even care for interaction at all.. he just seemed.. odd.
He would sit and watch the solid wall of the cage, for hours. Just sit and stare like the most wonderful thing in the world was there. It was a behavior no one had really witnessed before in the arena. He would sometimes be found chirping and barking to himself.. as if he were talking to someone with no one around. Sometimes the wall would become his object to have conversations with. No one understood what was wrong with the rather handsome young male hatchling.
Other times he would be found seeming to organize things.. like egg shells left from his birth or other odds and ends. He would repeatedly stack or line up the items, mess them up and repeat. One handler had timed the behavior, and it lasted over five hours at one point in time. He didn't seem to understand he could talk to his mother or siblings either, he remained silent to them. Only talking to himself or the wall.
When his siblings would try to play with him, it would cause some kind of tantrum in the hatchling. A melt down of sorts he would panic and become overly aggressive before Initium shoved him off or separated them. Once broke apart, Perneth would go to his own little corner of the cage and begin to talk to himself or the wall once again in a very angry and upset tone before maybe taking a nap or gazing off into space.
You had been assigned to take the hatchling away, to the sale floor that day. Unsure of the fate the strange little male had in store. You walked into the cage, after the last violent separation with Initium the hatchlings would be taken at different times over the course of an hour. Perneth would be first. You walked in with the carrier, the little male sitting looking at the wall he was easy to snatch up and get in the crate. He squeaked, but once inside he seemed to be muttering to himself as you made your way to the sale floor.
He was easy to get out into the first sale cage, since he was rather curious. The sale cages had blocks, and other toys for the baby dragon to play with an in an instant.. the little guy was sitting looking at the wall as he began to organize and stack the blocks, mess them up, and repeat.
As you placed his adult preview on the outside display... you wondered what would happen to he strange little hatchling when he was bought and sent off to who knows where.
