Lullaby is a scout for the Clan of the Gossamer Breeze. He is an aerial scout for the clan, staying aloft for immense distances in order to gather intelligence. He sees himself as a weak fighter, preferring to heal and comfort the fighters who return from the battlefield.

Evening was settling into the crags and valleys of the Reedcleft, the sun's last rays of warmth stretching lazily into every golden crevasse. From his vantage point in the sky, Lullaby could see the entirety of his lair and its surrounding territory laid out beneath him. Lullaby banked his colossal, leathery wings and fell into a controlled dive, a dark blur against the dimming sunset.

But as he descended, the Imperial sensed a bright streak of movement. From the corner of his eye, Lullaby spotted a lone fledgling, its glimmering scales a stark contrast against the golden hues of the setting sun. And just as he noticed the hatchling, it threw itself from a cliff and plummeted from his sight.

Before he was conscious of what he was doing, Lullaby had tightened his wings and turned towards the imperiled hatchling, tearing towards the earth at a frightening speed. He was gaining now - he could see the young Mirror flapping his wings madly, flailing helplessly as he fell. With an enormous rush of wind, Lullaby threw open his impressive wings and came to an abrupt midair halt, snatching the fledgling in his talons.

"Are you all right, little one?" Lullaby asked gruffly, still gasping for breath after his wild flight. "Why did you throw yourself into the Twisting Crescendo?!"

The phosphorescent young dragon gave an annoyed snort. "I heard that big dragons who are really important can fly through the Crescendo. I'm important too! I can do it!!" He was clearly disappointed that his 'flight' had been interrupted.

Lullaby was taken aback. Hesitatingly, he asked, "Young one... have you ever flown before?"

From the sheepish look on the fledgling's face, the answer was clear.

Lullaby let out a booming laugh, an unusual sight from the intimidating Imperial. "Let me take you home, Important One. Tomorrow, you will have your first flying lesson."

The dark dragon looked down to the hatchling at his feet and winked. "Don't keep me waiting."
