Caretaker's notes:

Of the two brothers, he is the more introverted and bashful boy. When not clinging to his mother SpriteStep's frilly appendages, he can be found in the shadow of his ironically much smaller sibling Fulvus.

Like his brother, his name comes from a Latin word meaning 'white'.

His relationship with his family is very healthy, and since they all live in the same lair, that's a good thing. He gets along with both his mother and brother very well, but his father doesn't seem to want anything to do with him or his brother. Only time will tell if they're able to be a little closer.

Candidus isn't very picky about what he eats, though he makes sure not to touch whatever kind of food Eldridge wants to eat, as the other male gets very angry sharing a food source and has no qualms hurting his own son in the process.

Addendum:

He seems to have grown a thicker skin-- both literally and rhetorically. As an adult, Candidus shows a moderate amount of self-confidence in comparison to his time as a hatchling. He is to date, the biggest dragon in the clan, and while this is fact, he doesn't use this to his advantage.

Sadly, it's still a common sight to see this big male being pushed about the lair by Eldridge, the patriarch.
