The rising star of the academy, Kai is a prodigious alchemist and the youngest head of faculty in Astropolis’ history. He’s taciturn and serious, treating his title with the weight it deserves. His ultimate goal? to become an Eternal, the pinnacle of both his alchemical and magical studies.

Kai wouldn’t even give him the appearance of entertaining his nonsense. “Leave.” He said, not bothering to look up from his boiling concoction.

He heard Saturn’s petulant, whiny voice. Gods he had not missed him. “Oh come on, man! Aren't you happy to see your old pal?”

“Unless you have finally decided to abandon that barbaric death trap then no, I’m not happy to see you.”
