C O P P E R H E A Dxxx Copper High Priestess Sharp / Snappy / Stern / Arrogant Copperhead felt herself shoot out of bed, gazing off groggily for a few seconds to regain full consciousness. Another dream, only this time, it wasn't a blank and loud, writhing and agonizing one- no. No, not at all. This one had told her the answer. The one needed for the clan's peace of mind, for those who have asked it have only received minor murmers of disregard and apology. She had the answer. One they all seek. She raised her chin and gathered her belongings before quickly padding out of her den, which was located halfway upside the steep cliff that the leader used to watch over the clan. She climbed up, higher and higher as she watched the sun rise over the Scarred Wasteland before sitting down at the edge of the rock. Curling her talons over the side to make sure she didn't fall, she waited. Silent. She could hear everything. The small chatter of the morning guard. The dew droplets falling from the plant stock centered in the clan. The small cry of new hatchlings as they awoke from their slumber. She heard it all. It was only a secret for her and herself to know. She had never told of her hyper sensitive hearing to anyone, and even her closest friends and family are only meant to speculate. Someone with such a gift shouldn't brag or flaunt over it, was Copper's idea of thinking. So she kept her abilities emotions to herself, not wanting to burden anyone she loved with her secrets. She felt a small smile crack her serious stare as a familiar horn rang throughout the clan, signalling importance in the courtyard. Shifting her gaze over, she looked down at a familiar face. A male Tundra was blowing into what looked to be a hollowed Beastclan horn just outside a metal forgery. As his last ounce of breath was stolen from the tool, he pulled away and grinned up at the Pearlcatcher, giving her a wave and a thumbs up. Her heart warmed for her mate, and she gave him a simple nod, not wanting to break formal character. Despite her held back attitude with most, she had a soft spot for her quirky mate, and adored him really. Turning back to her gathering clanmates, she waited once more for the last dragons to sit and silence below her. As the hush rushed over the dense crowd, she raised her muzzle again. The tip of her hood slid down the bridge of her nose, revealing her snout. The gentle breeze was nice today. A sign. She thought. Once she was sure she had ever dragon's attention, she drew in a deep breath and called out, causing the dragon's to receive a shiver at the Pearlcatcher's voice. "The Plaguebringer has spoken..."
