Flarestar wandered into the Ventus Spire clan from the Ashfall Waste. She has the fiery temper typical for dragons from the Fire flight, but she also displays an enormous amount of energy and hyperactivity. The fireforging dragons all liked her and her contagious happiness, but they didn't want her too close to their forges: Flarestar tends to knock things over in her excitement.

Feeling she wouldn't be satisfied living a life among the metalworkers, Flarestar picked up her belongings and set for the neighbouring Windswept Plateau.
At one the the Wind flight's many rest stops for travellers, she met Aurelian. He was a messenger dragon, on his way back to his clan. They engaged in conversation, and Flarestar intended to travel alongside him for a while before finding a place to settle. However, when laying eyes upon the tower that was his home, she no longer desired to travel any further.

She eagerly explored the Spire and its surroundings and felt merrier with every inch she discovered. Flarestar asked the clan leaders if it was okay for her to stay, which turned out to be no problem at all. Her inexhaustible amount of energy makes her a good scavenger for the clan's hoard pile.
