Artist
Creates works of Art for various dragons within the Domain; her medium is mainly watercolour and pastels. Altiri D'aunel Dragon Picasso A personality as loud as her markings, this creative nocturne has always been a friendly face; Splatter immensely enjoys meeting others, if for only to later show off her art and to paint her new friends. Extremely strong-willed, Splatter can often be stubborn in her own beliefs, and is not one to easily change her views to those of others. At times the little nocturne can even be rather fiery, especially in moments where something she takes pride in has been insulted. Splatter had always displayed an remarkable ability for art since the start. Hatched from an oddly discoloured egg found by miners at the Cairnstone Rest, Splatter tumbled out of her egg scrawny and weak, scaleless and with thin skin adorned with blue and yellow splatters. Elders feared the tiny nocturne would not make it. Some wished to take her back to Dragonhome in case she was a bad omen; members of the Clan may of very well done so, too, if it hadn't been for the blue snapper who believed in the little nocturne. Themisto took in the scrawny nocturne under her own care, affectionately naming her 'Splatter' for her markings. The den mother cared for the hatchling as much as she could, going out herself at times to gather the necessary herbs and medicines needed to keep her going. To keep the little nocturne preoccupied while she was stuck within the den, Themisto gave her some vials of watercolour paints and pastels. Splatter seemed to miraculously bloom after she was introduced to art; The once scrawny, underweight nocturne started to eat better and put on weight, her hide began to look a little more scaly and shiny; Splatter created more and more art as she grew older. Soon, Splatter was big enough to get her own den on the outskirts of the domain, her very own art studio. Dragons from the domain and far away alike approached her, wishing to buy the beautiful depictions of deities and legendary dragons she created. |
