“...or maybe some of us come from the water, and some of us come from somewhere else; then it's all a matter of finding those who are the same as us.”




Water is a substance with endlessly different characters. There's the endless expanse of the sea, parched enough to leave your nose and mouth burning; there's the bountiful gushing of the valley river, every field and flower at its mercy...and then there's the wellwater, hidden deep within the earth, dark and sweet to the taste. Despite her elemental ties, Choma originates from Dragonhome, the daughter of the waters beneath the mud, the silt, and the clay. She comes from something deeper. Attuned to the depths, she noses through dirt, water, growth, and decay as the Clan's ecologist, delicately observing every species at her feet. She's not much for speaking, having wandered into the Clan as an adult with little contact prior, and her vocabulary is limited from her development in isolation. She keeps a sketchbook of her findings, conveying her ideas through graphs and diagrams rather than the words that so persistently elude her.
