When the Clan falls on hard times, Ryujin always keeps the vigor of youth close to his chest. While he's generally more a realist than an optimist, Ryujin doesn't find it difficult to face the challenges of the day with not only acceptance, but outright gratitude. No matter the pleasure or pain involved, genuine appreciation comes naturally; everything he feels has some value for him. As the Clan's resident geomancian, he has insight into the history of places as well as a knack for observing the emotional connections and strains related to particular locations. His pleasant nature renders him a welcome diplomat, and his presence as an ambassador proves most essential when the Clan moves from place to place. In the past, was mates with Kanriss, but he grew to dislike her discerning eye. Occasionally comes under scrutiny from peers for tastelessness.
