The oldest of his siblings, Dusk is quite the oddity compared to his rambunctious twin and his outgoing parents. An introvert with an aversion to adventure, he has found his niche in the creation of art, collecting clay and stone and all variety of odd, interesting objects to build and fashion everything from helpful pottery to extravagant reliefs and strange sculptures that hardly fit within his clan’s lair. He favors the use of gems and crystals, bringing beauty and light to his home with every piece he brings to life, which is fortunate considering he doesn’t much like going outside. Home isn’t only where the heart is, after all; it’s where the Beast Clans aren’t.

Not to say all Beast Clans are bad, no. He’s just had one too many run-ins with angry harpies about the property rights to some of his prettier work materials. He’s fairly certain there may be some kind of bounty on his head, written into those coded messages of theirs.

Timid and quiet, Dusk isn’t much of a talker and has a tendency to tune out those around him. Because of how infrequently he speaks, some suspect he doesn’t know how to interpret or speak typical draconic language, stuck chattering, chirping, and buzzing in the language of his breed. He does speak it, albeit brokenly and with some difficulty, but in all honesty he is often too distracted and shy to make chit-chat with others. He tends to attract friends and admirers with his work instead of his words, prone to letting others know he appreciates them with gifts of art rather than a compliment.

In his mind, it’s a much more meaningful gesture anyway. Anybody can say “hello” or “you’re pretty,” but not many can give their friends a custom crafted relief of their profile in the style of pre-Dragon Sornieth with opal eyes.
