Divit

Divit was the first dragon to be met when venturing past the the Tunnels mouth. Her iridescent scales glowing vibrantly against glowing embers, she struck out against the harsh browns and fiery oranges of the barren land. She tenderly pawed at the brittle soil, delicate with a newly sprung Manaweed. It's gentle purple bud just barely peeking past a thick green shield of leaves. She startled at the sudden wave of dragons spilling out of the caves nearly invisible opening, her claws protectively cupping the gentle life. She eyed the clan, her bright green orbs sparkling as brightly as her hide. She did not flee, only looked on curiously while protecting her charge.

"Are you of this land?" A white guardian, one of the largest dragons in the foreign group, asked her with a tone sweet as honey and as comforting as a well lined feather nest. The small nocturne bowed her head, only just hesitant to respond. "We are looking for shelter, dear friend. Do not fear, we mean no harm."

"Where you just came from is a large cave I've been sleeping in. It is more than big enough to house all of you, imps and all. But I know nothing more of this land, I am only her to protect what little flora dares grow." She revealed her small treasure and Hime bent her head, a smile in her eyes. She nudged the delicate head of grass and it opened, a fully bloomed flower peeking pushing past the outer shell.

"If you will show us the way, I would truly appreciate it. This land is fierce, and that you are here protecting the weak shows a strong spirit. Please, tell me about yourself while we make our home. We are in need of a heart, for we were just driven from our home. It would bring some life back to my family."

The Nocturne bat her eyes a moment, mouth agape and tail coiled over her head curiously. She peered past the looming drake, noticing all the eyes peering back at her and just how dull they were. She nodded hastily after making her decision.

"Yes, yes, this way. I'll tell you about all the plants I have growing in there and all their names. They're friendly, just like you. I'm sure we'll all get along." The Nocturne made her way towards her makeshift home, just west of the cave they'd just exited, and found a little Tundra sitting proudly at the head. Together they lead the way to shelter. And to a home where the Clan of the Windy Tunnels would settle, safe from fierce claws and murderous beasts. And, quite frankly, a place Divet would settle, fitting in with the strangely colored dragons from lands she had never before seen but had dreamed of wistfully while catering to her exotic flora.

"I can make anything grow, if you need food. I give life to places there is none, whereever my feet fall little plants grow. I thought this place needed it most. Maybe it'll help all of you." She hummed to anyone within earshot, idly swishing her tail as she waddled. The Matriarch nodded from the rear, interest piqued, and swore this young drake would be safe within her Tunnels. Life was a blessing, and so was the lovely young spirit.
