Kerubi

Kerubi was adopted by Silver and Fluffy after he had decided he wanted to leave his birth clan and see a different part of the world. Already tired of Nature only a few days after his birth, he knew he would end up following in the pawsteps of many of his former clanmates. He didn't expect the day to come so soon however. Fluffy, the second in command of an Ice clan, had been visiting Nature to find herbs and plants to stock up for the long winter ahead, when a storm left him stranded on the ground. His wet fur was too heavy to fly, so he sought shelter with a clan he had visited just earlier that day. They kindly let him stay the night, and Kerubi was curious about this stranger. Taught that Ice dragons were cold and unforgiving, this Tundra seemed to be nothing like that. He wore a fedora, that he claimed had saved his life at one point, and loved to joke around with the other dragons. Kerubi could tell his clanmates only let him stay to keep up appearances, as they didn't want to seem unfriendly, but they obviously didn't trust him. Kerubi couldn't understand why. He was so nice. He decided that he would talk to the Tundra, even if he was kind of scary looking. One thing led to another, and overnight the two had become friends. The next day, Kerubi asked his clan if he might leave with the Tundra, to live with his clan. They reluctantly agreed, and though he was sad to leave behind his family, he knew he wouldn't regret it.

And he didn't. When Fluffy brought him back, the entire clan immediately took a liking to the small hatchling. Fluffy introduced him to his mate, the leader of the clan, a Mirror named Silver. Though a bit distant, she was kind, and even offered to teach him to paint one day. The walls of the cave they lived in were covered in art, and Silver explained that it told the story of her clan, as far back as any dragon could remember. She led him back to the end of the caves, and painted a picture of him on a wall that was covered in pictures of dragons. Silver explained that this wall held the pictures of all the dragons that had ever visited the clan. She gave him a paintbrush, and he wrote his name underneath the painting. Finally, Kerubi felt like he belonged somewhere.

Kerubi grew up to be a strong defender of the clan. He doesn't like to fight, but he will do so to defend his clan, especially Silver and Fluffy, who have become like second parents to him. He wishes to one day go back and visit his old clan, and show them everything he has learned. Though not as good as it as some of his clanmates, he has become fairly good at painting, and enjoys doing it in his free time. He still doesn't understand that the snow doesn't go away in the Southern Icefields, and waits for the day it melts. That doesn't mean he doesn't like the snow though. He enjoys making snowdragons, and he loves looking at the ice sculptures Silver makes. He hopes his old clan and parents don't miss him too much. Maybe one day when the blizzard calms down, he'll write them a letter.
