PAT Chief Healer Mate of Aideanne Permanent 
 As an egg, Pat was abandoned in the silty waters of the Driftwood Drag for dead. Against all odds, Pat was found and taken into the care of a group of kindly healers. A mixmatched group of Tundras, Faes, and Skydancers, they ensured that Pat grew up surrounded by healing herbs and remedies - and with the knowledge of how to make or harvest them. Now, second in command of what has to be the biggest bunch of clumsy mischief makers he knows, Pat is immensely glad he'd paid attention to the art of healing. Between dealing with injuries ranging from a scale pulled lose to a limb hanging off and training his apprentice, Pat is often seen darting from nest to nest both day and night. |

To this day, Pat would claim that the nastiest surprise he'd ever had was stumbling upon an outmatched fight between a skinny, wretched thing of a Guardian and a pack of red wolves. He'd done all he could to drive away the wolves before the dragon died - roaring, snarling, biting, and pelting them with whatever he could find. Eventually they had slunk off, leaving the red (scale color or blood, Pat hadn't known) dragon lying on a heap on the ground.
Hesitation filling his every movement, Pat had worked his healing touch on the Guardian. Pat would say that this was where the nasty surprise had turned into a pleasant one: upon waking up, the Guardian had promptly thanked him and proposed an alliance, claiming "any dragon who could bring me back from that fight is one I want to be friends with." Pat had accepted and the years had passed into this; an ever expanding clan and doting affection from his now mate Aideanne. |
