The Matriarch | Clan Founder

Kind | Patient | Loyal

An adventurer, an optimist, and an eternal dreamer— these are all things that describe Moonshine well, although no one word can truly begin to explain this mysterious Guardian. She’s the most important figure in her clan, the founder and matriarch, the dragon who began it all.

For all her wisdom and power, she seems to be ageless. An eternally young dragon who never has to face the fear of growing old. Perhaps this isn’t the case. Maybe it’s just the way her clan views her. Either way, Moonshine works this perception to her advantage, using it to further her mysterious persona.

Moonshine is mated to the other founder of the clan, Savagewing. It’s a stormy relationship at best, and they have only been able to have a few children so far because of it. Moon doesn’t always approve of Savagewing’s violent nature, and he thinks that she’s too peaceful— not quick enough to take action when the clan is in danger. They have their disagreements (perhaps too often), but they do care for each other.

With the exception of her mate, not many people know much about her past. Still, almost dragon in the clan seems to hold her in high regard. Moonshine is a fierce warrior who defends her territory with ease, and seems able to solve almost any problem that comes her way. She’s clearly a natural-born leader. Wise and patient, she does everything she can to lead her clan in the best way she knows how.

But Moonshine isn’t always as happy or perfect as she seems. In those rare moments, when she thinks no one else is watching her, she lets her guard down. The smile slips from her face, and she stares off into the distance. Something seems to haunt her. Something from the distant past. There’s regret in her eyes. Maybe that’s why she wears those goggles all the time. They say the eyes are the windows to the soul. Why does she feel a need to hide her soul from everyone else?

[claps hands together] Anyways.
Oooooh, yes, start with the avatar dragon. I made a good choice, because this is a nice Guardian, an A++ Guardian. The accent goes so nicely with her primary and secondary (sorry about that tert, buddy; that’s rough), and it makes her look like an awesome mix between Arcane and Light. Which, thinking about it, could get really sketchy because that’s asking for the pursuit of truth and knowledge combined with science experiments in the vein of a god who brought the end of the world to Sornieth twice. Proceed with caution.

To top her off, though, she has awesome art in her bio, and her familiar is kinda sorta matching. What an excellent dragon. The only thing that might make her better would be pink silks, especially the wing silks. I bet those would be gorgeous on her.
