When the world was yet young, there was only the starry sky above overlooking the flat plains below. Filled with potential yet devoid of the life to be. It is upon these very plains that the first two entities appeared: Isolde the First and Tundra of the Evening Wind. Where these two had came from, even they do not know. Perhaps they were born from the dreams of the elder gods or mayhaps even from the wisp of magic that accompanied the sneeze of the great Windsinger himself. Regardless of their origin, they knew that they existed.

One day underneath the great starry skies, the two wondered what would it be like to have another entity similar to them in existence. At that moment, a bright spark of light appeared in front of them, with the light came the sense of warmth and familarity. And just as sudden as its appeareance, it disappeared, leaving behind an ovoid shape lying on the grass. Upon closer inspection, the object had the color of the youngest spring grass with darker swirls decorating it. Recalling the feelings they felt within the light, they decided to keep the object, sensing that it is something important to them.

They took the object every where they went, always near, never far. On the fifth day a crack was heard. Alarmed, the two dropped what they were doing and inspected the object. There was a crack on the object despite their best care and polishing. Worried, they thought of how to repair the flaw on the object. Perhaps filling it with some sticky sap would do? Or bind it with some sticky webbing to prevent further cracks? While they were deep in their thoughts, the crack grew wider, silently running from left to right, up to down, spreading in every direction. Movement came from within the object, shifting it so that it fell to the side with a loud CRACK. Shocked out of their ponderings, the duo turned as one to see in dismay that the item they so coveted had splintered into tiny fragments. Yet their dismay did not last long as it turned into bemusement as they noticed a dark shape wriggling below the broken spring colored shards. A tiny pink strip, akin to a tongue flickered out to lick away the slime that covered itself. The shape shifted some more to reveal velvety red inner draconian membrane.

Familiarity now ran through the two as the shape revealed its more dragon-like characteristics. Stirred by the recognition, they leaned down to help, removing the shards and slime that covered the shape. As the slime cleared up, the clearly smaller dragon blinked open its spring green eyes -the color of its shell- the same shade Isolde and Tundra had noted seeing in each other's eyes. Blinking a few times to clear away the slime covering its eyelids, the tiny dragon focused its gaze on the entities before it, squeaking in surprise at the huge entities staring at it with the same green eyes. Kinship nudged Isolde then, inspiring her into realization that their wishes were granted. 'Welcome little one. Welcome Kayla, to our world, our home.' she spoke gently, lovingly to the first hatchling of their new clan.
