Kylas was born on the Snowsquall Tundra. Always the adventurous type, he left home in search of new places when he was still quite young.

When he arrived on the Frigid Floes he met Mira, a female Mirror dragon who went on to become his mate.

After their first batch of eggs, however, Mira felt it was important to join the Icewarden, and left their clan.

After Mira's departure, he felt alone and also quite scared. When he and his hatchlings were attacked by a group of wandering dragons, he thought it would certainly be the end. He fought with all his might to protect his offspring, and luckily, a Polarfreeze Defender offered his aid and together they managed to drive the attackers off.
With only a few scars thanks to the timely rescue, Kylas asked if the bear wouldn't stick around. After a bit of consideration, he agreed and always keeps a watchful eye on Kylas and the rest of the clan.

As the clan's patriarch, he has put his more adventurous aspects aside in order to be a good example for his clanmates and the new hatchlings.
Sometimes, though, he just can't seem to say no to a tiny adventure

After a while, the clan had expanded, and Kylas found himself drawn to one of its newest additions; Tali, a Nocturne.

Khali, their first son was mysteriously killed one day. His body was found by Mori, the Nature Ambassador of the lair. Gizma announced that poison had felled the dragon as soon as she laid eyes upon the body. It's still unknown who killed the Patriarch's son, the first in line to the clan leadership, but Kylas is determined to find out one way or another.
