Biography

KIGA MORROWDIM
The Debonair Striker
Captain of the Night Watch

The crimson Coatl hatched upon the brink of the Plaguebringer's cauldron. She was a hardy hatchling, everything a Plague clan could have asked for. Yet in spite of her tenacity, her Flight's creed never sat right with her; she neither understood nor liked the idea that only the strong ought to survive. As she grew and thrived, she noticed newcomers soaring above the Wyrmwound, and realized she had discovered a way out of the Plague dominion that wouldn't require an arduous passage through the Abiding Boneyard. Ereshkigal pushed herself to learn to fly as quickly as she could. Eventually, she felt confident enough to try her wings on the thermals above the broiling lake of plague, and launched herself as high into the air as she could go.

Strong though she may have been, she was still young and very inexperienced, and would have plummeted back down to a very gruesome demise had the Wind adventurers not noticed her struggle and come to her aid. With their assistance she was able to remain airborne, and flew with them until they reached the skies of Dragonhome, where she became too tired to carry on. They left Ereshkigal there, to continue on with their journey. She was found by an Imperial monitoring the wilderness- Persephone, head of the Diabase Demesne's Night Watch, and was taken in by the clan.

Now, the dashing Coatl patrols Pele's domain by night with the squad under her command, keeping the land safe and earning herself a lot of fans in the process. She's popular among her clanmates for her confidence, style, skill, and manners. Ereshkigal is a perfectionist, and although usually this drives her to pursue excellence rather than causes her to beat herself up for mistakes, it does gives her anxiety if she begins to make mistakes during prolonged stressful situations. She usually bottles this up by feigning her typical self-assurance and pretending nothing's wrong.
