Mars

Mars is another son of Duet's clan, though he does not fit in as the archetypal Wind dragon. At a young age Mars showed a particular aptitude for magic, so much so that his siblings would often tease that he should have been born an Arcane dragon. Instead of putting him out, this actually went to his head, and he often boasted about how he was blessed by the Arcanist.

Mars is extremely full of himself and rather enjoys picking on people, relentlessly teasing and poking at them until they snapped - at which point he would turn tail and hide, as he was far from the best brawler. His clan soon grew tired of his antics, and he too grew bored with them.

Mars left to join Prowl's clan as a last resort, and as it ended up it was the best decision of his life. There he met a like-minded dragon, Selene, who found his sense of humour to be hilarious. The two hit it off quickly, and are now inseparable. They aren't always present in the lair, as they prefer to travel and scavenge across the continent.

Mars' personality hasn't changed at all, but Forte urges everyone to just be patient with him, as beneath his rotten attitude he does have a good heart. And this is true - he may not be a proper gentleman, but he is fiercely loyal to his Clan.

His familiar is an Amaranth Moth, who he insists is totally a fierce warrior.
