Biography

THE LONE WANDERER

Many would crave to live the life of perpetual solitude and Nomad traditions that Lightsoul does. Whenever they try to, they usually only last a few days before merely giving up because they lost interest in a mystery that wasn't even there in the first place. The Nomad liftstyle wasn't for everyone, which is why the cold-blooded and yet light-scaled Samurai had to give it up in the first place.

All dragons are born with a spark of goodness and mythicality inside them. Inside their little souls, there were sparks of a bit of everything, really. The Arcane Flight brought sparks of magic, the Shadow Flight brought sparks of mystery, the Earth Flight brought sparks of grounded wisdom... But the Ice Flight gave a spark that was a tad colder than the rest. It was the spark... of Cold. Cold-hearted, cold-blooded, and cold-intentioned.

That was not to say that the dragons of the Ice Flight were all Cold. No, not at all.

All dragons have sparks inside of them, but what really matters is what spark they grow into their fiery breath. Some choose to feed the sparks of goodness, some choose the sparks of groundedness, some choose no sparks and decide to be 'breathless' for the entirety of their life.

But some dragons, akin to Lightsoul, decide to feed the sparks that perhaps weren't the best for them.

Lightsoul was born to a clan in the Ice Flight with the scales of the sun and a spark of ice in his soul. His pearl was perpetually frozen, and was crushed by the monsters that ruled over the Ice Flight's domain. Soul is half of a dragon, so how does one 'replace' their soul?

Through duty.

Lightsoul had his heart, and his duty.

Though, of course, a Pearlcatcher without a pearl was absolutely uncalled-for, so Lightsoul was given a replacement, so he wouldn't go through the 68 stages of grief and then die at the ripe age of two days old. The replacement did not fill his soul like his original pearl did, and the shards of it are still kept in the sleeves of his garments, to remind him of what could have been.

Jaded and wartorn, Lightsoul's duty was to bring down a clan of noble stature that had wronged his own clan so dearly in the far past. Lightsoul travelled the world seeking duty, until he finally found duty in killing his sworn enemy; an old general, who wasn't even affiliated with any clan and was just out buying groceries in his uniform.

Lightsoul had been training to fight and to fulfill his duty since his pearl (and hopes and dreams...) were CRUSHED! It went as well as you would expect. By the time Lightsoul had tried to land the first hit, his bamboo-hat wearing butt was quickly seized and practically adopted by the general, who had taken a liking to the no-nonsense and strictly non-verbal Pearlcatcher.

This general clearly had not been his true target, but the general had still adopted him, and took him into his home. That's where Lightsoul's tale of nomad travels and duty ended before it even truly started.

Who was this general, you may ask? Well... Some things are best left secret for the sake of Lightsoul's fragile honor.
