B I O G R A P H Y

Main Theme: Cristierra - Cold Breath

______ Before: Born alone atop a barren, ice-covered cliff, Phoryx found that the world was both beautiful and cruel. Newborn, she toddled out to find her parents who must have been around. She was cold and hungry, she needed her mother. She did stumble upon her mother, but her body was long since cold. The only thing she could salvage was a brilliantly shining sword, attached at her mother's hip. Mewing her sadness, she carefully undid the clasp and dragged the sword with her, hoping that against the odds she would survive. It wouldn't be until much, much later that she reached her mother's home clan, and learned that Beastclans had ambushed her mother. They came with the intent to take her egg.
Her mother must have fought valiantly, since the surrounding lands were scorched and bloodied. She was too heavily outnumbered, and too preoccupied with protecting her child that she lost in the end.

Long weeks dragged into months before she finally reached an inhabited area. She was immediately taken in, and grew up on the stories of her mother's bravery and courage. She knew nothing of her father, however, who was a drifter. As she grew, she realized just how much that first memory had affected her. She grew fierce and determined, ready to do anything to keep her clanmates safe, but she would not spill blood. She wanted to help them fight somehow, though, so she studied medicine. Oh she studied long and hard, reading every book and going out on her own to study the native plants.

She now is the alpha healer; one with great knowledge and wisdom. Her work is quick and efficient, and she will often go with expedition and hunting parties to treat any ailments or injuries. She is no stranger to gratitude because of this, but it has never gone to her head. She is always sweet, humble, and ready to help.
