Quicksilver is a warrior for the clan, fast, fierce, and sly. Unlike many clan members, she doesn't have a concrete role in the clan, aside from putting her skills at fighting to good use for it, because her greatest asset is her flexibility. Quicksilver has a remarkable gift for matching herself to any opponent's strategy, and fitting herself into any role she needs to. She can change her tactics on a dime, and in the rare times the clan finds itself in true danger she seems to be everywhere at once, attacking, defending, planning, and ensuring that she is always right where something she can do is needed. In the times of peace, she may be a scout one day, a hunter the next, and an armed escort the day after that. Idleness makes her uneasy, and she much prefers to be actively doing something useful than sitting around.

Wildclaws are known for being fierce warriors, and Quicksilver was always interested in that path. But she never settled into a single type of warrior training. She wanted to learn how to battle one on one, and in a group, as a front line fighter and as backup, with magic and with force. Her teachers worried that she was drifting, and that she was doomed to be mediocre at a large number of things instead of an expert at a single one, as most fighters strive to be. However, they underestimated her dedication and her skill. While she couldn't be an expert at everything, she had the natural talent and dedication to practicing needed to at least become good at most of them, and very good at more than a few. This made her remarkably flexible, able to fit into any gap in a battle plan.

Quicksilver had always felt drawn to the Wind region, although she was born a Nature dragon. The landscape was still soft and green enough for her to feel at home, and Wind flight dragons were known for their changeability, as mutable as a wandering breeze, much like herself. She was certain that she would fit in there, and when the time came for her to seek out her own clan, that was where she headed. She let the wind blow her where it would, in the spirit of her new home, and fetched up outside a modest, newly built lair. To her great surprise, the dragon everyone seemed to defer to as their leader, a seafoam green tundra, did not have eyes the light green of Wind flight, but the same deep green of a nature dragon she herself had.

That was what clinched her decision, and Nocti was happy to welcome a new member into the clan she led. Since the clan was still new and forming, Quicksilver was enormously helpful to them. She was one of few dragons, but she could carry out the role of many. When the clan needed a quick-witted fighter to drive off an incursion of gale wolves, or someone to accompany and protect their gatherers while they searched for food in new locations, Quicksilver could do either thing admirably. Even when the clan began to grow larger and more established, with a wider variety of members to perform specific jobs, she continued her role as a floating member, pitching in wherever she was needed. She enjoyed the feeling of freedom, since she could often choose her tasks for the day. More than that, she enjoyed being able to exercise a number of different skills, and the chance to hone them all in rotation so that she could continue improving. She had never been the type who liked to sit still and do nothing, and now she had a chance to do everything.

Quicksilver can be well described by her name, since she's also quick-tempered, quick-witted, and quick on her feet. She's very competitive, and has a tendency to take any sort of game too seriously demanding rematches if she loses so that she has another chance to prove herself. Although she tries to hold her temper, she hates losing, and when she loses any sort of competition, she tends to lose her temper as well. However, she is just as fiercely protective of her clan and friends as she is fierce in other ways. She's equally likely to pitch in to anything she sees someone struggling with, without needing to be asked first. She has a great respect for Nocti, and feels a special connection with her since they are both Nature dragons who were drawn to Wind flight. If she loses her temper, a single word from Nocti is enough to calm her. Although the tundra is not a warrior, Quicksilver still believes she is a great leader, and admires her neverending kindness and care for her clan. One of the fastest ways to make her lose her temper is to insult the clan leader.

Quicksilver is Moonlight's mate, although some might find the pair unlikely. Moonlight is a noble and knightly type, always trying to help others, but she is the type to be coldly practical, if need be. As a warrior and hunter, she knows that for her to clan to eat, some members of the prey's herd must fall to her claws. Nothing in life is gained without difficulty. However, it's this that makes her admire their kindness and generosity so much in her mate and clan leader, since she believes it takes an even greater strength to keep others safe, taking on difficulty for themselves it need be to save others from it While Quicksilver respects and admires her mate's dedication to honor, she does not share it. She believes that sometimes one must do something less than admirable for the continued good of the clan. However, whatever cause Moonlight takes up, Quicksilver is always right there with him, fighting by his side. And if she ever has to do something expedient that he couldn't bring himself to do, she does it behind his back and makes sure he doesn't find out.

The two of them met when Moonlight was a newcomer to the clan, after she was a long established part of it. She was fascinated by the wandering warrior who offered his help to any who needed it, asking nothing in return. He practiced an unusual style of fighting, one in which he used magic to wield his element like a blade, and it had been a long time since she had had anyone to practice with who could do something that was new to her. The fact that he also shared her great respect for Nocti endeared him to her greatly, and the she began finding more and more opportunities for them to work together. Quicksilver was not terribly romantic, but she believed that a good partner in battle was a good partner for life, and strove to prove herself and gain his regard in that arena. Moonlight, however, was more of a romantic, and courted her in a gallant fashion that was completely new, and enchanting to her. Although she's not quite as romantic as he is, Moonlight is often seen proudly wearing the favors she's given him, flowers which she uses her Nature magic to grow especially for her mate.
