Biography

tumblr_inline_mzxpsh9lZN1st17vy.gif Omen
Occupation: Priestess
Flight: Plague
Allegiance: Plague

Many consider Omen a “priestess,” though she finds that title to be a bit too lofty for her tastes. While she is a zealous follower of the Plaguebringer, taught the ways of the Scarred Wasteland and the glory of the Wyrmwound by her parents and elder sister, she does not feel as though she has earned the right to be considered a “true” vessel for the Mother’s word. Rather, she considers herself a proselytizer who is dedicated to one flight, one cause, one goddess and that it her calling in life to spread the word of Her greatness to every dragon in Sornieth.

Maybe then, they’ll see the error of their ways.

To this end, Omen is strangely charismatic although she adheres strictly to the priorities and mindset of the typical Plague dragon: she shames weakness, applauds strength, is occasionally savage with her words, and believes that there is no boundary that should not be crossed to ensure one’s survival and victory. She speaks loudly and enthusiastically of her home, of its glory, of the warm and welcoming glow of the Wyrmwound, of the trials of disease and pestilence that proves one’s worth, often preaching for hours on end in front of the fire’s warming glow to a crowd of bewildered but curious onlookers.

Though most non-Plague dragons do not heed much of what she says, they seem to respect her tenacity and dedication. In turn, she has become a bit more open to outsiders, protecting those in her clan as her mother would protect her own. She’s certain that even if she falls in lands beyond her home, softened by her exposure to outer-Flight dragons, both the Mother and her mother would be proud.

Praise be to the Plaguebringer. Praise by to the Wyrmwound. Fight until there is nothing left.

Amen.
