A Fresh Start

Sent as a gift from an ally clan, Mint wasn’t sure what was in store for her in her new home. After both her parents left to serve the Icewarden, her home clan found itself burdened with an orphan hatchling, and saw a solution in sending her as a gift, strengthening bonds with their neighbors and getting rid of one more mouth to feed.

The wary hatchling had heard tales of awful places. Clans were the members were made to work tirelessly to produce riches; clans where they would fight time after time in the arena, until at last their battered bodies would be exalted into servitude.
So it was with surprise that she found herself in the then just starting out lair, with but a handful of dragons as they tried to build a safe home in the arid domain of the Icewarden.

Initially left by her own devices, Mint found a knack in gathering plants and herbs that could be useful to her clanmates, and with time and training she grew into the an herbologist and the clan’s informal medic, using her trade to help her fellows and tirelessly researching to add to her ever growing collection of herbs.

Field Work

So it was a natural progression for her to accept the role of healer with the queen’s hunting party. No longer limited by the lair’s territory, Mint now went on missions with Cassandra and her fighters, acting as the party’s healer and collecting specimens and notes along the way.
The possibilities with real life observation of the fauna and flora of different flights were endless, and she eagerly sought out to better herself.

What was not natural, however, was Pistache’s presence.
Brought in to help her in brewing concoctions and medicine, the apothecary was pleasant enough, but had somewhat of an attitude towards her experiments - and herbal medicine in general - that ruffled her feathers in the worst possible way.

If it were not for the queen’s direct orders, she would never suffer through his presence in her personal space as he went about “bettering” her potions. Though she had to admit he could be useful sometimes, and her alchemist’s pack filled with small potion bottles were proof enough of that.

Glimmer

As reward for her service to the clan, Mint was awarded with magic scrolls for a new image to match her station. Though she was never a vain one, it is fair to say that she is enjoying the attention that it brought her.
